Is there a way to generate RSS for media files only?

  iTunes require hosting of mp3, plus a RSS feed.

  WordPress generates RSS for all its posts, plus it generates RSS for tags and categories.

  I have a question.

  Can a directly uploaded mp3 file (without inserting it into a published post) have its own RSS feed?

  Does anyone follow?

  Hi there,

  To close the loop: no, a media file would need to be part of the feed itself (i.e., part of a post) in order to be properly read.
