Is there a way to get this to disappear?

  At the top of my site I have two pages. I’d like both of them to disappear as I have made links to all the pages on the sidebar. Any ideas? The problem I’m having is that the one page is the parent of all my other pages and I can’t hide it.

  And is there a way to hide the home page?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  You’d have to use a different theme, one that doesn’t have a tabbed header.

  You can mask the tabs by using this in a text widget:
