Is there a way to go about getting more traffic to my blog?

I checked a few previous posts but there was no definite answer since they wanted traffic so that they could advertise. I just want more traffic on my blog, and I don’t think you can advertise your blog on the forums here.

There are threads in the off-topic forum where you can promote your blog and if you use the forum search box you’ll find hundreds of tips. And it’s better to link your blog to your username, rather than putting it in your post. The forum sticky called “8 Things to Know” explains how to do that.

1. Make your name link to your blog:

I fully agree with lorawow’s comments about promoting one’s blog. I think it’s a surefire strategy.
