I know that there are custom quiz plugins in wordpress.ORG but is there any way to have a quiz in wordpress.COM?

A number of people have reported that the Quiz shortcodes don’t work (e.g. https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic.php?id=781983)

It appears to jumble up answers between different questions – and the example quiz only includes one question.

Solution: To get it to work close the quiz and open a new one quiz for each question, e.g.:

[question]Which of these colors is darkest?[/question]
[answer]navy
[/answer]

[wrong]cyan
[/wrong]

[wrong]yellow
[/wrong]
[/quiz]

[quiz]
[question]Which number is larger than 10?[/question]

[wrong]9

[/wrong]

[/quiz]

This is how the shortcode works, yes. You need to use one instance of [quiz][/quiz] for each question/answer set. So if you want multiple question/answer sets in a post, you need to have multiple sets of [quiz][/quiz], otherwise your site has no way of telling which answers go with which question.

Regarding the threads you linked, they all just say the shortcode doesn’t work without providing any details or any links to pages where the shortcode has been entered. Unless someone provides details on what isn’t working there is no way for us to confirm a bug.
