Is there a way to have a specialized page for the homepage that does not change?

  Right now on my blog the page that is pulled up when you go to the blog is the most recent post.

  Is there any way to have a specialized page for the homepage that does not change regardless of recent posts? Such as an image or something of that sort that visitors would see when they go to the blog…

  Hopefully that makes sense.

  Certainly :) There are two ways that you could do this, actually.

  One way would be to create a sticky post, which is a post that will always stay at the very top of your posts page. You can find instructions on how to do this here:
