Is there a way to have the category widget show all related posts?

I’m using the “Category” widget in the right sidebar on the blog page. When a reader selects one of the tags/categories (and say there are 5 posts related to that tag/category), only the most recent of those posts displays. Is there a way to have all five titles show with summaries so the reader can select which post they want to read? My old theme, Twenty Ten, functioned that way. Thanks for any help you can offer.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there, when I click on Adventures in the category widget in your sidebar, I see 5 posts with an “Older posts” button below the last post in that category. The limit of “5” comes from the Blog pages show at most… setting at Settings > Reading.

If you wish less content to show in posts on the archive, category, tag and blog page, you can add the More Tag to your posts.

Thank you! I was hoping there was a way to list all the titles during a category search without the “More Tag” since the More Tag also affects the way my blog page displays. Preferably, I’d like the More Tag feature for just the Categories and then the text in full for the blog page.

We can certainly hide the post content on category pages, but it will still only show the number of posts set at Settings > Reading.

One option would be to make a static page with the category name and then use the Display Posts Shortcode on that page. You have options you can set to not show the excerpt/content and even have it show all the posts in that category up to the limit of 100.

I’ll try that out. Thank you so much for your help!
