Is there a way to import my entire blog to a new wp blog under new username?

  I am thinking of taking my blog public, but want to disable being found via search engines (I know how to do this) and am most interested in making sure that my former URL is disabled. I want to get more traffic but would feel much better under a new URL that isn’t recognized. :-) Is it possible to import either a.) all of my posts, pages & comments to a newly created wordpress blog or b.) import the entire blog?
