Is there a way to invite friends to view blog from within WP?

  There is only currently a way to invite other individuals to create a WordPress.com account (this function can be found from Users -> Invites in your dashboard). There is no way to simply send a “Hey, take a look at my new blog!” note from within your dashboard, however.

  Of course, you can personalize the invites by composing your own ‘Personal Message’, so I suppose you could use that for your note.
