Is there a way to know which widgets each theme supports?

  I would like to add an email contact page to my blog, without putting my email address up publicly. I know there are plugins for this — but I’m using wordpress.com and that seems to disallow plugins. I assume there are widgets for this — but my theme (twenty-twelve) does not seem to list such a widget. I would be grateful to know if there is a comprehensive list of wordpress.com widgets and which themes allow which ones.

  All of your available widgets are listed at Appearance -> Widgets in your blog’s Dashboard, and all WordPress.com themes support all WordPress.com widgets.

  We do not specifically have a contact form widget, but you can use our contact form shortcode in a Text widget: http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact-form/#shortcode-reference

  Thank you! The video found through the link explained it perfectly. I had no idea there was a contact form button on the page editor all along. So easy!
