Is there a way to lock comments for a post?

  I’m wondering if it’s possible to stop any new comments to a post..basically, to lock the post. Thanks. :)

  Yes.

  When you write a post, there’s a series of check boxes to the right. The second section is discussion. Uncheck the box that says “allow comments”.

  If you want to lock an old post, you’ll just have to edit it and use the same checkbox.
