  Is there a way to make your blog not active for people to view until we have more content?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Sure! There are two privacy options available:

  1) You can set your blog to “Private” which means that only users you invite will have access to your posts and other content.

  2) You can set your blog to “Discourage search engines from indexing this site” which will block web crawlers from search engines, but anyone with links to your pages will still be able to see it.
