Is there a way to merge administrators?
-
Hi –
A somewhat complicated situation: Is there a way to merge Administrators? I have three admin accounts for one user (me) and have noticed that some new subscribers appear on one account and not the other and vice versa. Which has left me wondering if all those people are receiving updates. I hope I’m making sense here. Thanks for any and all insight.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

http://www.pirancafe.com/ is not hosted by WordPress.COM.
We provide support here only for WordPress.COM hosted blogs.
We do not provide support for WordPress.ORG software installs.WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. Read the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG account, then click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, https://wordpress.org/support/register.php so you can post to the support forums there.

Thanks for your quick reply. Yes, I’m aware of the differences between .org and .com. Is it possible that my ‘problem’ lies with how I have Jetpack connected to a wordpress.com account?

Sorry, just one more thing I noticed — I’m getting notifications that new subscribers (probably coming via likes and comments made my reader account) are appearing in my pirancafe.wordpress.com account but not on the main site, which is why I came here.
Thanks again.

Yes that could be a factor. Jetpack is a plugin for WordPress.ORG software installs to provide parity with blogs hosted by wordpress.COM. Some JetPack solutions are here http://jetpack.me/support/
Others are in the JetPack support forum at WordPress.org
http://wordpress.org/support/plugin/jetpack
However, if you can’t find help at either one then you can file a JetPack support ticket here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/?jetpack=needs-serviceIf that’s not successful then type modlook into the sidebar tags on this thread for Staff help. How do I get a Moderator/Staff reply for my question? https://en.support.wordpress.com/getting-help-in-the-forums/#how-do-i-get-a-moderatorstaff-reply-for-my-question Then please subscribe to this thread so you are notified when they respond. Many thanks, will check that.
As I remember back I experienced this problem once before, when I migrated to self-hosting. From that support thread, it appears that the problem was never fully resolved.

This was promptly resolved via Jetpack support, many thanks for the direction here. Cheers!
