Is there a way to only allow wordpress.com members to view my blog?

  I don’t want to completely cut off wordpress.com users from viewing my blog as I’m always willing to have new followers and viewers. But I recently ran into an issue of someone linking to my blog from my instagram account and reading things not meant for them to read. I understand that I can make my blog private and invite viewers but then my blog would only be readable by 3 users.
  If I change my URL, will it continue to link back to my old one? Example: if my old URL was linked to someone else, would it automatically take them to my current site or would they be told that the URL no longer exists?
  I just want to avoid having to shut out the entire wordpress community.

  I don’t think that is possible.

  If you change the url, the link(s) will be broken. It’s virtually impossible to stop people from linking to your site, even if it’s private.

  If you change your URL the links will be temporarily broken but I understand they get updated quickly and will work.

  There is no way to allow all WP.com users but nobody else to read your blog.
