Is there a way to put LINKS in order?

OK so I have 2 links in my side bar and I want them to be flipped in order. I have tried everything. I thought they were ordered by the time they were created so I deleted the one I wanted on top and re-posted it. That didn’t work. Then I thought they were posted alphabetically, so I stuck the letter ‘A’ in front of the title to get it to move up and that didn’t work. I have no idea why it’s ordering in the way it is. I can’t seem to find anything about re-ordering links. Is there any way to do this??

In Manage > Links, if you click on the link name (as if you were going to edit it), there is an “Advanced” field at the bottom. Changing the rating will change the order.

Nope. Didn’t work. I gave one of them a 1 and the other a 0 and then tried them the other way and they didn’t flip. Then I gave one a 1 and the other a 2 and then tried them the other way too. They didn’t flip :(

Sorry, my fault for misleading you. What was i Thinking? Actually, I don’t think you can do that in wordpress.com, not with the “Links” feature. But you can manually add the LINK URLs to a text widget and sort them any way you like.

Thanks wpvstp. That trick achived what I wanted.

Raincoaster – Yep, it seems my blog theme has a default order or something. But what is it?? It still doesn’t make any sense. If I delete both links and start over, no matter which one I write first or what letter of the alphabet I start with, the one that I don’t want on top always goes on top!

Hi, I just figured it out and got it to work on my blog…. using the Links feature, it all seems to come down to an alphabetical order based on the name of the Link. When I made the link I wanted at the top the first name alphabetically, it changed the order, and listed them as I wanted them. Cheers, Van
