Is there a way to reset my site?
-
I have a site, http://www.uabama.com, and I attempted to change the domain to amauab.com. Once I did this, I lost access as admin and can’t login to the site at all. I’ve created the amauab.wordpress.com account as a temporary account until I can get this resolved.
Is there any way I can have the uabama.com site reverted to its state prior to the domain change?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

http://www.uabama.com/ is not a free hosted WordPress.com blog. We do not provide support at WordPress.COM for any installs of WordPress.ORG software. We provide support only for free hosted WordPress.COM blogs being hosted right here on this multiuser blogging platform. You are posting to the wrong support forum.
WordPress.com and WordPress.org have different log-ins and run different versions of themes with same names. If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.ORG bloggers.

I already asked wordpress.org and they told me to ask for support with wordpress.com..

This is more of a hassle than it should be. Is there an actual contact I can request help from?

uabama.com Is Hosted by DreamHost -
http://amauab.com – This domain name is not registered
There is no domain mapping upgrade for amauab.com. If you would like to amp to that domain from http://amauab.wordpress.com/ you will first need to have Staff remove the other domain mapping and set up domain mapping for it instead.
I’ll tag this thread for Staff assistance. Please subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and please be patient while waiting.

I tried to change the domain name of uabama.com and all these issues followed. All I need to do it have amauab.com work properly again so I can have it deleted. I can’t upgrade my wordpress until the old site is shut down.
Thank you for your help, information, and tagging for support!

Howdy,
I’m afraid that the wordpress.org support thread is your best bet since this site isn’t hosted on WordPress.com (the difference between the two: WordPress.com and WordPress.org
Specifically, in that thread, could you provide information on how following WPyogi’s suggestion regarding FTP access did not work? Basically, what they’re trying to suggest is how to undo the site URL change made in the /wp-admin/ dashboard that caused this issue.
As an alternative, contacting Dreamhost’s support may be helpful.
Hope you had a good weekend and thanks again.
