is there a way to reset to the original template settings?
-
I somehow deleted my home – about- contact and blog menu’s. I was trying to get each one to post different blogs into different pages and ended up deleting EVERYTHING… please let me know how to either add them back with different posts on different pages or just reset the whole thing. Thanks!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Which WordPress.com site are you referring to here? https://sailthetides.wordpress.com/ seems to be deleted.

You’re referring to the Menus shown on your WordPress.com site, and you can ideally add them back using the WordPress.com Customizer. Open the WordPress.com Customizer and choose “Menus” section available on the left sidebar. You should be able to see the list of Menus available on your site currently, add new ones or delete old ones.
There’s also the “View all locations” section at the bottom that controls where your Menus are displayed on your theme.
just reset the whole thing
If you still need to reset the whole thing, there’s no option available for WordPress.com users in the frontend. There’s however an option at the backend, available with the WordPress.com Happiness Engineers (staff), as mentioned on this post. That option can be used to reset the WordPress.com site in whole. Note that all posts, content and settings you have created will be lost though.
Please confirm if this what you want to do, and the staff will be able to do this for you and it will look like you are starting a completely fresh WordPress.com site.

Just to clarify – staff does have the option to preserve all content when we use the reset tool. You may end up with duplicate posts and pages if we go that route, though.
sailthetides – let me know if you’re all set or need further help. Looks like you may have gone ahead and deleted the original site?
strikebuys – thanks for helping out!

Thanks for clarifying this for me, Kathryn!

sailthetide – looks like outercoreclimbing said this is resolved. Not sure if you’re the same person, but do let us know if you need further help.
