is there a way to send a link instead of the whole post to followers?

  When a subscriber follows my blog they get an email with the whole post in their email. Is there a way to have the email send out a link rather than all the text?

  Hi!

  You can send them only a short summary of the post with a link to it instead of full text. You can choose this option at the wp-admin area of your website inside Settings > Reading under For each article in a feed, show. Cheers :)
