Is there a way to set or alter posting dates?

  I published three posts, in the order 1-2-3. They should appear on my blog in the sequence 3-2-1, but instead they come up 2-1-3. I want them in the order specified – how do I do it?

  As dates are embedded in all post URLs. The only way you can change this now is to edit the posts and change the dates.
  edit post screen > http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/edit-posts-screen/
  I know you aren’t scheduling a post but look at the images here so you know what to click to change the dates > http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/schedule-a-post/

  However, if the posts have been indexed by Google then doing that creates broken links. http://onecoolsitebloggingtips.com/2011/08/05/avoid-creating-404-pages/
