Is there a way to show a pdf instead of just download ?

Modern browsers like Mozilla Firefox and others have pdf.js which make it easier to see a pdf. I am writing a blog post. Is there anyway I can let people read the pdf instead of having it being only downloadable ?

Hi there, Currently it looks like the only way to embed a PDF document in a post or page is via Scribd https://en.support.wordpress.com/scribd/

Hello again, as a fellow WordPressdotcom user I do not know what features may become available in the future, but it looks like I did overlook another option to Scribd to embed a PDF file, Google Drive https://en.support.wordpress.com/google-docs/
