Is there a way to simply provide a link to new posts to email followers?

  Is there a way when sending new posts to subscribers that just a link to the post be in their email so that they have to click on it and enter the blog in order to read it? I think most subscribers just read the post on their email and don’t come into the blog; and therefore my statistics do not accurately reflect how many people are actually reading . . . Thanks!!   You can change your settings to only display excerpts of the posts in feeds and email subscriptions emails.
  You’ll find that option in the reading settings page:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/reading-settings/

  (Look for “Syndication Feeds”)
