  how can i “sticky”or set a post to “announcement” when creating a new post via xml rpc? i am using the wp-sticky plugin on my own blogs

  Yes, the metaWeblog.newPost method supports the built in sticky post feature in WordPress. The field is ‘sticky’ and takes a boolean value.
