Is there a way to stop sending e-mails with every post?
-
hello everyone,
i’m a journalist and i use my blog to make a public archive of my news and interviews.
for the last 1 year i’ve been really busy and i wasn’t able to update my website much. now i’d like to add all the news i’ve made during the last 1 year. however i don’t want my e-mail subscribers’ mailbox to be full of 50 e-mails from my blog in just 2-3 days.
is there a way to make wordpress.com stop sending e-mail notifications to my e-mail subscribers? i’d like to stop it until i add all the news that i made and then turn it back later.
i searched the forums but i couldn’t find such a way.
thanks and best wishesThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi! I haven’t tested this but I think if you set your blog to private
http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings/
and you publish posts while private, emails won’t get sent out. To try this you could add yourself as an email subscriber, set your blog to private, and then publish. Make sure you change your security settings back when you’re done. I don’t know if this is a feasible option for you.
Hope this helps.
