Is there a way to turn a "Post" into a "Page", other than copy and paste?

    I wish to be able to create a menu of verse-by-verse commentaries that will eventually appear in order, organized by biblical book–i.e., ‘Revelation’ or ‘Daniel’, not just under a “Category”. I guess I could make “Revelation” a category, but I’m not creating Posts in order, and so it wouldn’t appear verse-by-verse in order, unless I can organize the Category order. I hope I am making sense. Thanks.

    If it’s a menu you’re looking to create, you have complete control over what shows up where, using the custom menus’ editor.

    The two other ways to do that would be to have individual pages (not posts), for verses with a parent “book” page, or else, if using posts, to date them a way that would respect their natural sequence.
