Is there an Error on my template?

  • Unknown's avatar

    Hi!

I’m not tech expert, but I have by now read through all of your FAQ and I can not find a reason why my blog, which uses this Template: BouquetVersion: 1.2.5
Af Automattic is showing an error every time I click ‘leave a comment’ after each blogpost.

When clicking ‘leave a comment’ I get this error: Well this is somewhat embarrassing, isn’t it?
It seems we can’t find what you’re looking for. Perhaps searching, or one of the links below, can help.

What can I do to change that?

Thank you for your time in advance

    Deirdre-Ann Roberts.

The blog I need help with is deirdreannroberts.dk.

    Hi, Deirdre-Ann.

It looks like your site is hosted elsewhere, using the WordPress platform, and not hosted here on WordPress.com. These forums are only for the sites hosted here.

You can find help with this issue on the forums at WordPress.org, which is the site that supports your version.

I did a Google search for your issue and there were a lot of results. The folks over on WordPress.org ought to be able to help with specifics.

One quick thing I just thought of. Are comments enabled for posts on your site? You can check the setting here.

    http://deirdreannroberts.dk/wp-admin/options-discussion.php

You can also enable or disable comments on individual posts.

It’s possible that if comments are disabled, the link would point to an error page.

  • Hi Deirdre-Ann, these forums are for sites hosted on WordPress.com.

I don’t see Bouquet running on deirdreannroberts.dk, but if you do have it active on another self-hosted site, please post on the Bouquet forum at WordPress.org and we can troubleshoot there:

    Bouquet

You’ll need a free WordPress.org account to post – if you don’t already have one, you can register here:

Be sure to provide a link to your site when you post so people can help you more easily.

  • Hi noebiewan – thanks for trying to help. :)

It’s possible that if comments are disabled, the link would point to an error page.

Just to clarify, if comments are disabled, the “Leave a comment” link shouldn’t be there in the first place, so I don’t think that’s the culprit here.

    Hi, Kathryn.

I thought not, too, but have seen stranger things. :)

Bouquet was active a few minutes ago when I visited the site. I’m getting “not found” errors now on the individual post permalinks as well.
