    Is there an in-built plugin to allow people to edit their comments?
    It would be really helpful for my website if there were, and for other websites in general, as it can often be annoying when you write a long comment with one spelling error and are unable to change it. Having recently read ‘WordPress for Dummies’ I’m interested in the Ajax plugin, but I don’t know if (as a free user) I can get it. Can someone please help?

    No, there are no plugins on wordpress.COM sites. Other users cannot edit their own comments, only the administrators (and possibly editors) of a site, are able to edit comments. So you are able to edit any comment that you make, and if you spot a spelling error in someone else’s comment, you could always fix it up for them (but that depends on whether you want to do that…).

    yes Editors can also approve & edit comments
