Is there an option to remove sidebar from blog feed page?

I am trying to find a theme with an option for a full-width blog feed that does NOT include a sidebar. I’ve tried multiple themes that say they feature full-width, but it only seems to apply to other pages created, not the default blog feed. What am I missing?

If you prefer the Penscratch 2 theme that’s applied to your site now, the widgets can be hidden on the blog page as described and illustrated in the Widget Visibility section of the Widgets support page.
You’ll notice that one column themes tend to have large margins on each side. That’s typical of one column themes, and of themes in which the sidebar widget area is either left empty or with widgets hidden on the blog page. I don’t know of any exceptions. I believe the reasoning behind this includes the following factors: 1.) people tend to find it difficult to read long lines of text, and 2.) most people do their blog browsing on small devices. The large margins seen on themes like Penscratch 2 when viewed on a big screen will be absent or minimal on a tablet or mobile phone.
