  Hello,

  I posted a question here and inadvertently posted it twice. As soon as I realized my mistake I marked one duplicate question “resolved” to avoid confusion.

  A volunteer answered my question by saying “I don’t know” and then closed the thread because they were annoyed by my posting twice error (which I resolved to the best of my ability).

  Is there another place I can post my question? Or a way to contact another support volunteer who might be willing and able to help?

  Please, posting the same question repeatedly will not make anyone answer any sooner. As I explained, there are lots of threads about problems with inserting images. Most of them have been resolved by staff.

  Also, have you tried switching over to the text editor to precisely place your cursor where you want the next image to be? The cursor in the visual editor is not always exactly where it appears to be. That is, it can sometimes be inside the code from the previous image. Granted this usually happens with captions, but this may be a possible solution to the problem.

  If it’s an emergency, you can email support at wordpress.com, but their definition of emergency might be different from yours.
