Non-WordPress.com Nameservers
Although it seems kellireese.com has been registered, it is not using WordPress.com nameservers. If your domain is mapped to a self-hosted site, then your configuration may be fine as currently set up. If you wish to host your site at WordPress.com, you will need to update your nameservers as outlined below.

Ok. Thanks for your assistance. Here’s what my VA wrote to me below. I don’t have anything from wordpress that shows that I purchased the kellireese.com from them, just kellireese.wordpress.com. I purchased kellireese.com from Bluehost a few days ago and now that’s where we are stuck. Thank you.
From my VA:
When I look up your domain name on https://www.whois.net/ it shows that Automattic Inc is your domain registrar (that’s WordPress.com’s parent company).When I login to your WordPress account that you gave me it says you don’t have a domain registration. Can you look through your emails and see if they gave you a separate account login for the domain name itself? It says in WhoIS that you registered your domain name on January 16th so look through your emails to see if there is an email around that date with information.

I’m thinking now that i missed the verification email back in January and didn’t verify the domain and it got suspended? How can I get wordpress to let it go so we can do our work from Bluehost where I recently purchased it.

@kelliareese it looks like you cancelled your domain recently. I was able to restore it to your account.
If you’d like to point it to Bluehost, head here:
https://wordpress.com/domains/manage/kellireese.com/name-servers/kellireese.comAdjust the settings to use Bluehost’s name servers. Then you can transfer the domain as well using these steps:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/transfer-domain-registration/But don’t cancel the domain until it has transferred properly. You’ll lose access to the domain if you do.
