Is there any chance of getting https service for custom domains?

  As search engines start to penalize http-only sites, I’m wondering if there is any mechanism for me to buy a certificate for my blog’s custom domain. (I know you have a wildcard certificate for *.wordpress.com; I’m paying for a custom domain already for a reason.) I assume you do offer this service for your top-tier enterprise customers.

  Hi Garrett,

  This is something we would like to add in the future but at the moment is not feasible. Our VIP program is subject to the same limitations. (You can see this at http vs. https on time.com or techcrunch.com)

  I’ve submitted another request for this feature to our systems team and have marked this thread to report back whenever if it is a possibility.
