Is there any other way to subscribe to a blog?

  I did the whole text widget thing, but isn’t there a way where people can just login and view your blog on their sidebar? I know other blogging services do it this way, so I was wondering if there was a way to do it here? Because I know most of my friends and family will not understand the whole “feed” thing. Help!

  Well, doing the whole text widget thing on your blog isn’t going to help your friends and family get your feed updates. One other way would be for you to add a Feedburner “Headline” to your blog and you’ll get a url that you can give them such as http://feeds2.feedburner.com/Shimworld which in this case is configured to display the latest 5 posts. Have them add this URL as a desktop shortcut and it’s done. Cannot be any simpler than this .. one click to your blog feeds!
