Is there any problem with having a site title different from the address?
-
I haven’t launched my blog yet. I want to change the Site Title (It’s too obscure). Do I need to have the address be the same as Title? On twitter it doesn’t seem to matter. If someone remembers my blog and wants to go back there either name, falseknowledge (obscure) or The Medical Critic (new title) will get them there, right? Or no? Is it considered like tacky for them to be different?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You don’t need to have it the same, but it’s good for SEO and to help people remember it. I certainly would never give up a URL like the one you have. Maybe just start a new blog with the URL you want instead, and set this one to Private until you want it again.

Thanks that was great advice. I’d forgotten about if you turf it it’s gone forever. Ended up adding “Medical” to falseknowledge. Then didn’t mind losing falseknowledge forever. “Critic” even with medical takes you to provincial politics news and movie stars! Thanks again.
