Is there any way to a URL from automatically linking?

    I want to stop URLs from automatically linking in my posts. I also want someone to be able to copy the URLs and paste them into a new browser (to avoid problems that can happen with links). I’ve tried using <!https:example.com> to try to force it to print as plain text and that didn’t work.
