Is there any way to bend the dimensions rules for the images?
-
I’m trying to create a WordPress blog to enhance my site’s visibility, but I’m having some difficulty with the main image, which I would like to be an exact copy of the banner from Elders of Genova. I’ve been unable to crop it so it’s even able to fit the whole name of the site on it. Are there any options or do I have to create a unique image for the WordPress page?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

http://www.eldersofgenova.net/ is not hosted by WordPress.COM. You need to post to the WordPress.ORG support forum for help with your site because it is not hosted by WordPress.COM.
WordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely separate and different http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.ORG bloggers.

a) Staff have ruled that if a site here has as its main purpose simply publicizing a different, off-WP site, it is in violation of the terms of service and can be suspended. That said, if your blog is original, doesn’t link back to your site in every post, and is generally judged an asset, it is fine.
Are you talking about a header image? That can be changed by choosing a different theme, one that has the dimensions you need, or buy purchasing the Custom Design upgrade and using it to change the header dimensions.

Thanks for the catch.@eldersofgenova
I apologize for getting that reversed.
