Is there any way to change your site name

  I made a typo when I was registering. The site name is 365cr8 and I want it to be 365cre8.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Yes, you may change the site name. Please follow the instructions in the Change a Blog Address support page.

  re: changing a site title or tagline
  The Site title (blog name) and/or the optional Tagline can be changed on the top of this page at any time. > Settings > General … “save changes”.

  That is exactly where search engine spiders look for the site title and removing it from there can cause issues with getting your content indexed. Note that the site title (blog name) and blog address URL do not have to be the same but it’s better for SEO (search engine optimization) if they are the same.

  re: changing a .wordpress.com address
  We cannot edit any blog URLs. If you want to change the .wordpress.com blog address ie. the URL starting with http:// then you must be logged in as Admin under the exact same username account that registered the blog to do that and the URL you desire must be available. If so, then you can change the URL by using the guide http://en.support.wordpress.com/changing-blog-address/

  Changing a URL is a permanent and irreversible act. No changed or deleted blog URLs are recycled here, regardless of who registered and deleted them and no exceptions are made.

  Hi there.
  It was clear from the original post that 365cre8 was referring to the first part of the website address, not the site title, with the phrase “site name.” The post says:

  I retained the term “site name” in my response, following the OP, though it is clear that I am referring to the first part of the website address.

  Good idea.

  Anyway, now I’m not sure. I think the website address was 365cr8.wordpress.com when I responded. Then, after the OP changed the address, the changes were reflected here. Otherwise, you correctly referred the OP to General Settings to change the site title, I was wrong to give the link to the Change a Blog Address support page, and I’ll be digesting crow for a while.

  I’m preparing for full retirement in the Fall so I may be too picky because I’m worrying about such things. Thanks for being so gracious.
