Is there any way to completely get rid of Snapshots for me?

  So, I’ve already turned off snapshots for my blog, but I still have to deal with them when reading other people’s blogs. I have to be careful about where my mouse is hovering or I get a useless picture and potentially frozen computer. Is there any way to get rid of snapshots so that I don’t see them anywhere, including other blogs?

  I went to my dashboard –> design –> extras, then uncheck and update.

  When the snapshot window comes up on another blog, click on the icon at the top of the little window (can’t remember what it looks like) and it will bring up an options panel where you can turn it off for your computer. It’s cookie based, so if you clear your cookies you will have to turn it off again later.

  Wow, thanks! I once pressed a button which looked like an “x” but actually just magnified it. And froze my computer. *eyeroll* Sort of stayed away from the window after that, but I’ll go look at one right now!
