Is there any way to get rid of the sidebar?
-
I’m using the Eventbrite Multi-Event theme, just because I like the look. And I am creating web pages that aren’t blogs or events.
All of my web pages have ~1/3 of the horizontal space wasted because it is reserved for the sidebar. I’ve removed all the widgets from the sidebar but it still uses up space.
Is there way way to get rid of the side bar other than changing my Theme? I’ve tried several but they all seem to have side bars. The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
The sidebar is built in to the Eventbrite Multi-Event theme design. However, you can use custom CSS (part of the Custom Design features in your WordPress.com Premium upgrade) to customize the design.
If you’re new to CSS, we have tips for getting started here:
If you have more CSS questions, most of our CSS support is done by expert staff and volunteers in the CSS Customization forum:
https://en.forums.wordpress.com/forum/css-customizationFor example, here’s a thread from the CSS forum with information about removing the sidebar from Eventbrite themes:

If you have additional CSS questions, you can also post them to that forum for more help with your site’s CSS. Please include as much detail as you can about the change you want to make and what you’ve already tried — it really helps. :)
