Is there any way to set all Author posts as requiring approval?

  I would like to be able to set up users to the blog who can write their own posts, including images links etc, but still have them require approval before being published. Contributors cannot upload their own images etc – but then for the next level up Authors seem to be able to publish directly – is there any scope to work between the two??

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Depending on how tech-savvy your other contributors are, they should be able to insert image hosted elsewhere (e.g. in their own media libraries or on Google+, Flickr, etc.) by adding an html image link in the text editor, but that’s the only way I can think of how Contributors could add images. http://en.support.wordpress.com/beginning-html/#images-in-html

  (I should mention I haven’t tested this, so I’m not sure if it will actually work.)
