A follower of my blog mutualinterdependence.wordpress.com said there was a dodgy advert with my last post. I cannot see it. Is there any way to stop or filter adverts?

WordPress.COM does not allow bloggers to “filter” the ads on their blogs
All ads should be “family friendly” if you or a visitor finds an ad you don’t think is family friendly take a screen shot and put it in your media library for the staff to look at. All ads should have some text by them “about these ads” that goes to a WordPress.COM page explaining the ads. Some browsers put ads on sites, either infected browsers or bogus add ins.
Your account is older than Sept 1, 2014 so you should be able to buy the no ads upgrade for $30.-/yr and not need to buy the $99.-/yr special Cable TV Bundle Up-sell package
