Is there any way to stop reblogs?

  I’d prefer not to have people reblogging my postings, as I’m trying to build up unique content on my blog.

  I’ve unticked the box to show the reblog button in settings, but unfortunately the reblog option is still showing in reader. Does wordpress have any plans to change this? Thanks.

  The button may SHOW in the reader, but it does not WORK in the reader. Try it yourself: try to reblog one of your own posts.

  Thanks, that’s reassuring to know – someone has just reblogged one of my postings at WordPress, so I thought they must have used the button in the reader.

  Now I’ve just realised the problem could be the ‘press this’ button, which seems to be another method of reblogging – is there any way of removing that? I’ve tried to do so several times but it still appears. Thanks.
