Is there any way to transfer posts from my old blog to my new one?

  Hey all

  I currently have a blog which I have lost hosting access to because a friend hosted it for me, so I have opened a new one and wanted to transfer the posts across to the new one? Anyone got any ideas?

  By the way, I still have the WordPress Panel access to my old blog, just not FTP etc.

  You appear to be in the wrong forum. We at wordpress.COM have no access to FTP.

  When you say you have opened a new blog the question that arises at this end is > Where?

  At this point we don’t know if you are referring to moving content from a wordpress.org to a wordpress.com free hosted blog or not.

  Go to Tools -> Export in your dashboard to download an XML file of your blog’s content.

  Please always post the URL for the specific blog to which you are referring when you post to any support forum.
