is there anything you can do if you get locked out of your blog?
-
I had to change my cell phone number due to a possible identity theft emergency. It was at that point that I realized that that list of 10 codes I threw out a few days before, during the move, was the only way back into my site. I would just as soon lose the site in question, but it is a little worrisome that I no longer have control over the site, which has caused some frightening animosity in the community where I live. Is there any way to get back access to the site or should I just leave it alone and forget about it?

I get worried about the content I submit and take it back, or are you saying it’s not content anyway?

Log out then fill out the form – if you fill it out while logged into any account WordPress.COM will try and recover the account you are logged in as – the form goes to the account recover group and they will then work with you
you will need to prove that the account is really yours so the questions and such might seem like a pain in the rear – but it is to keep me from “recovering” you account by just reading your blog
