Is there away to crate pages that do not show up in the page bar?

  I am currently using the theme Contempt and my blog is at http://uuyag.wordpress.com/. So what I want to know is there away to crate pages that do not show up in the page bar, and also do not show up in the page widget as well. See I just want these pages to be accessible from links via posts I create. But if this is not possible then I will I guess have to host my pages somewhere ells and create the posts to link to them and put a link one the pages bake to this site.

  you can edit the page widget to select which pages you do not wish to show on your blog by inserting the page’s id into the selected column in the widget.

  That did not work. But I did find out that by marking the pages as privet it could be don but it did leave me with one little ketch. And that is now those pages will appear in the comment widget. Oh well I guess I just won’t be about to use the comment widget.

  You can close comments for those pages, so that they won’t appear in the comments widget.

  thanks guys very helpful, but WordPress should make this easier.
