Is this a new normal when logging out of my dashboard?

I’m just curious to know if the following is a new normal:
(I’m wondering if it has anything to do with having registered my domain a few days ago).
When I log out of my dashboard or admin thing, it brings me to my actual site instead of just logging out and bringing me back to my browser like before.
Is this normal now? Also, does it count as a visit or view every time it does that?
I don’t mind it, I’d just like to know if it is supposed to be like that.The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Ok, I’m going to assume that this is normal behavior for now and that every time I log into my dashboard or whatever you call it, that it also counts as a visit.
Therefore, I will no longer pay any attention to the stats knowing they are false.
Other than that, it is convenient to see how my blog looks when I make any changes without having to go to it separately. It’s just too bad I can’t trust anything about the stats, but it’s not important.
