is this a phishing thing?

  I got a weird comment on my blog it started out “You are specifically prohibited in the Amazon terms of service from contacting the customer if they were first acquired on Amazon.”
  I have never seen anything like this – concerned because it doesn’t make sense – is this some kind of phishing?

  I found the comment you are referring to in your Spam folder here:

  Judging by the email address and site URL used in the comment, I’m betting that this was just a random spam comment. I would just leave it in your spam folder or delete it from your site entirely. Akismet should catch future comment like this as spam.
