Is this comment spam or is there something wrong with my site like they say?

Hi there, I got the following comment on my site today and I can’t tell if it’s spam or if they are correct with saying there is something wrong:
Hey there, I think your site might be having browser compatibility issues.
When I look at your blog in Safari, it looks fine but when opening in Internet Explorer, it has some overlapping.
I just wanted to give you a quick heads up!

I have not approved the comment yet, I wanted to wait to see what you guys said. I have been marking a lot of comments lately as spam so I thought it was best to check. Thanks!

It looks like your site, sayarastirma.com, is not hosted on WordPress.com, which means that there is not much help that I can provide. Keep in mind that even though a site may have “powered by WordPress” at the bottom of it, does not necessarily mean it is hosted here. It may be a self-hosted WordPress.org site. I’m a little confused. Maybe there was a misunderstanding. My site is veggiesdontbite.com and I got a comment on one of my bola posts from the site you reference above. The comment seemed like spam to me, and I have been getting a lot if spam lately that WordPress has missed, but they said something about MY site having compatibility issues. They said that when they used internet explorer my site had overlapping but in safari it looked fine. So I wanted to see if you could check that out and see if it’s true. Or let me know if that comment was just a spam comment. Thanks!

I’m so sorry! I did indeed misunderstand. I had thought you were saying that the other site was the one which you were asking for help with (we get requests for help quite regularly which we just can’t do anything for, no matter how much we would like to). Thanks for clarifying. :)
To answer your question as to whether or not that comment is spam, I wanted to first establish whether or not their report was valid. I looked at your site in a variety of versions of Internet Explorer and wasn’t able to replicate any problem with elements overlapping each other. This suggests that it’s just someone trying to spam you. I would not approve it.
