  Is this email about verifying my email address real or a scam? Received after buying a domain name for the year from (email visible only to moderators and staff):

  Dear Valued WordPress.com Customer,

  We noticed that you need to verify your email address. To do so, simply click the button below. You will not be asked to log in to your WordPress.com account — we are simply verifying ownership of this email address.

  Without timely verification, you can’t fully manage your domain, and we’ll be required to put any hosted content on hold.

  Hi Teresa,

  The email is real. You will need to verify your email address and that’s all it is doing. :) I have resent the email asking for verification.
