Is this new editing thing legitimate?

    Is this new really annoying ‘bleep bleep bloop’ editing thing really WordPress or have I been hacked. I’m having real trouble trying to put together a new blog and seem to be missing vital functions. The icon for this new editing is a big pencil. Is this really yours? If not, how can I get rid of it? (It’s several months since I published my last blog.)

    Yup, that’s us. You have not been hacked. The developers have launched a new editor. While we’ll eventually move completely over to the new editor, you still have the option to work in the classic environment:
