Is this spam?

  I recently received several comments on my blog that were very complementary. However, the names of the users were weird like Specialist Bricklayer Insurance and Barcelona Hotel Bookings.

  I suspect these are spams and I removed them. But I wanted to report it and see if they were, indeed, spam.

  Those names certainly sound like spammers, no question! Mark them as spam and Akismet will learn that they are spammers. That way you won’t be bothered by them. It’s nice to get comments, but don’t be so desperate as to allow spammers onto your blog!
