is thr provision to merge the blog

    hello thr

    1) if user wants to merge blog a with blog b including posts, pages and respect comments is it possible , instead copy paste and reblog in like another section..
    i am willing to transfer all contents (pages, posts, comments, likes etc )of manoree.wordpress.com to mrunalkanadeblog.wordpress.com

    2) clicking help , wordpress redirects to page displaying contact us where myprofile vertical bar appears left side but under main body content of the page having heading ‘contact us’ does not display anything. is it paid service…

    as per guidelines, i have exported old blog details and said xml file
    in new blog – i have uploaded the said file
    via Tools >> import >> run importer..
    i got message about file uploaded succcessfully and about processing it.

    Kindly revert when I would able to see the imported content in new blog?

    I’m not quite sure, since this isn’t stated in the mentioned support document.

    I also tried searching for your two old posts from manoree.wordpress.com, to see if I could find them on mrunalkanadeblog.wordpress.com, and I couldn’t. I guess part of this is that I don’t understand the alphabet, so I could miss something here.

    Since you also imported this successfully, I find it strange. I’ve added a modlook tag to this thread, so you’ll get help from a moderator with this.

    Hi there,

    The site logs shows you used the Blogger importer to import the files instead of the WordPress importer. That won’t work.

    Please try importing the file again via this link:

    yes .. the exported file posts with comments are appearing through import functionality as u have suggested…

    forgive if below mentioned points has already been answered in another topic or forum..

    well can u pls help for below –
    1) does wordpress have export functionality in customized way by which only selected content could be exported into xml file?
    (selected post page meadia comment likes , tags, categories, menu)

    2) if about option 1 is or may not be available as requirement in the requirement document, then is it possible to enhance such functionality ?

    3) if either export or import wordpress function would get customized as mentioned in point 1, then repetative task could get avoided … and undo redo will also get minimized..

    When exporting you can export content based on several filters, yes. If you go to My Site ->Setting ->Export and click the down-arrow next to the Export All button, you’ll see the different available options there.
