Is Twenty Ten going to be Mobile-friendly?

  Pardon if this is a duplicate.

  I believe Twenty Ten theme is not mobile friendly (no responsive layout) as of yet. Is there any plan in the near future?

  I am also curious. How is the experience of the mobile users of your blog if you are using Twenty Ten theme?

  This is just a suggestion. I asked my mobile users to tell me what their experience was. Maybe you could do a poll or a survey.

  Unfortunately, I don’t have a luxury to ask due to the nature of my public blog, hence I am seeking some feedback here from others.

  The reason I am wondering about Twenty Ten now is because I used Twenty Eleven for more than a year and recently switched to Twenty Twelve. I have not been totally satisfied with either of them but Twenty Ten (on my private test blog) seems like a better choice under the circumstances. I also don’t have a luxury to choose custom upgrades so I have to use whatever is available. Hope you follow the situation and the context of this question.

  Hi there,

  Although Twenty Ten is not a responsive theme, there shouldn’t be any rendering issues with it on most mobile devices.

  Since Twenty Ten is almost three years old, there aren’t any plans to add responsive styles, but you do have a couple of free options for a more mobile-friendly website on WordPress.com.

  First, you can always enable the mobile theme for your site by making sure that the option is set inside “Appearance” → “Mobile”. This will display the Minileven theme for all users that visit your site on a mobile device.

  Alternatively, you can also switch to one of the responsive-width themes that we offer.
